Great experience with the dentist, the woman who helped me bills my CC without telling me the amount so when the amount hit my account I was not a happy camper. Overcharged by over $700 and not a big deal to her but I was shocked. She just picked a random figure and billed me. I did receive a credit the next day but for her to bill my credit card without any conversation regarding the amount, was just plain wrong. Again, the dentist was great, just the billing department has a lot to be desired.

I went for an oral infection. As I’m being worked on they gave me laughing gas which helped a lot. I started asking questions and the 2 dental assistants found it very funny that I was a little loopy they were low key laughing at me. While I was having surgery the receptionist came in asking about dr shaws availability. He stopped mid surgery and started making appointments. For follow up I was scheduled at 3 it’s now 3:30 waiting in what they call the cold room. I leave the room and ask when the dr would be in. They said oh he’s really busy. No communication I then said I’m leaving that’s when they got really rude. I went to my dentist who is wonderful and Shaw had called them telling them I left. Why couldn’t they call me and ask why I left. The treatment I received was the worst their bedside manners appalling

As others have noted, they will do a cone beam CT on you at the beginning of your visit regardless of whether is a dental visit or a medical visit. They will then tell you that in order to get the images in a medical visit, you have to pay $300, because they bill it as a dental procedure. Those CT scans are absolutely worthless to you because no radiology office will read them. Doctor Shah will only look at it for about 20 seconds before forming his opinion, and not look at everything that he’s supposed to to make the diagnosis that you are therefore. Stay away from this doctor if you can, his office is going to play hymn music, but like most people who do that it is to hide their narcissistic and megalomaniacal tendencies. The office staff is rude and condescending, as is the doctor.
